I have opened this blog to have a journal so to speak and keep the family up to date on our day-to-day stuff since we don’t live “daily visits” close to most of our family. So with that I am making a pledge to at least update this weekly!

Super Bowl Sunday

For the Super Bowl we had over Landon “LB”, Adam “Heavy” & the Withem Family. Two years ago we watched with great anticipation, even going to Dick’s for our Super Bowl Champions shirts after the game. As parents of babies, this year the party broke up just after half-time. I did get some shots of Lily & Ava playing.

I think I last posted shortly after Thanksgiving. I am going to make a better effort to update the blog. We’ve done quite a few things since I last posted. We had 2 month shots, had Christmas, New Years, a couple of nights out, rolled over and can give a good belly laugh. We have the laugh on video, along with me making a hideous noise- whatever it takes right? I am the only one to see the roll, she won’t do it while I run the camera.

Two months old!!!

It’s hard to believe Lily has been with us for two whole months. Life without her seems like a world away, but it still seems crazy that she’s here and ours. At two months we have learned to smile, discovered hands, we are working on chatter, and rolling over. She is developing a personality, she seems pretty laid back like mommy and daddy. She is focusing on what you say, sometimes looking as though you are speaking a new language. She loves sitting in her rocker and can’t take her eyes off the pink bunny that hangs from the car seat handle. She’s discovered the pink and brown ladybugs on her crib bumper. And who would have thought, she is totally content laying on the contoured diaper changing pad! She has given mommy two nights in a row of sleeping until almost 6 am. Mommy is loving that!
